Policy & Governance Manager (3-6mth contract) EC2 Up to £44,000
Membership Association seek an experienced Policy & Governance Manager, ideally experienced within education. A newly created role to develop policies and procedures to secure best practice and to ensure all trustees, staff and stakeholders are kept up to date with governance issues.
Duties include:
- Managing governance to ensure this international organisation meets regulatory requirements relating to Charities Commission, Companies House, Safeguarding and Data Protection
- Work closely with board members and trustees to manage and take minutes of all Council and sub-committee meetings
- Assist the Chair of Trustees in Council effectiveness reviews and Trustee skills audits
- Manage and improve existing policies relating to Risk and Incident Management, Complaints Procedure, GDPR, Safeguarding, Loyalty Policies,
- Training and promoting of policies
Successful candidate MUST have proven experience of writing policies and implementing governance frameworks in charity, education, membership bodies or public sector. Position could offer a permanent opportunity.
