Graduate Environmental Advisor                                             London                              Up to £30,000

Our client, a Top Engineering Firm are seeking a Graduate Environmental Advisor who will be driving environmental management efforts, assessing environmental risk and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Undertaking site inspections and audits on a regular basis and following up on actions raised. This will form approximately 50% of your time (2-3 days a week) and will require travel to sites- in or surrounding London.
• To assist project and site teams with their Environmental & Sustainability requirements. For example, assisting with the development of environmental plans at the outset of a project, and the collection of evidence for BREEAM throughout the project lifecycle.
• To assist the company with documentation systems and complete assessments, including environmental risk assessments.
• Ensuring compliance to regulatory and best practice standards. Assisting in the maintenance of the ISO14001 certification and environmental management system.
• Support in regulatory reporting requirements e.g. ESOS, SECR.
• Keep abreast of new developments in Environmental practices, policies and regulations. Identify those opportunities for continuous improvement in environmental management systems and practices

The successful candidate would ideally be degree educated with a good knowledge of the impact of the construction industry on the environment and communities.
