Part Time Corporate Receptionist/Administrator – 25 hours - £17,142 – Based Waterloo Area


You will be the first point of contact for the company’s visitors and you will provide administrative & clerical support across the organisation. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.



Working Hours


Your daily hours will be 13:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday



Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To answer the reception phone, screen and direct calls
  • To take and relay messages as appropriate
  • To provide information to callers & visitors
  • To greet persons entering the organisation
  • To direct persons to their destination
  • To deal with queries from the public and customers
  • To monitor visitor access and maintain security
  • To deal with all internal and external room booking requests
  • To provide general administrative and clerical support
  • To provide event registration & delivery support
  • To provide facilities support
  • To prepare correspondence and documents
  • To receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • To keep tidy and maintain the reception area



General Duties and Responsibilities

  • To have due regard of health and safety of both yourself and others at all times
  • To act within accordance with REC equal opportunities policies at all times
  • Any other business commensurate with your skills and abilities that may be required from time to time.



Proven working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • A Professional appearance
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
  • Have a strong customer service orientation
  • Have a good memory for faces and appointments
  • Be polite and courteous
  • Have a high attention to detail
